Childhood Anxiety Screening
All children experience some amount of anxiety from time to time. Learning how to manage anxiety related to tests, school performances and other everyday events is a normal part of childhood. However, some children are predisposed to experience higher levels of anxiety than other children, which can be due to heredity and/or life events (e.g., adoption, divorce, chronic illness). Those children, and their parents, typically need to learn anxiety-management strategies in order to prevent symptoms from getting worse.
If your child is showing signs of anxiety, the Anxiety Screening is a first step to understanding the severity of the symptoms. Using this information, you can make informed choices about treatment options.
